  • Section 1 discusses the pedagogical influence on and development of the communicative abilities of native speakers within the theory and practice of contemporary rhetoric. Section 2 provides a short overview of the diversity of communication training courses as a special form of applied rhetoric. Ten criteria are described by which communication training programs can be differentiated. Finally, Section 3 exemplifies the structure, methodology and efficiency of communication training courses based on conversation analysis.
