Funktion, Form und die Möglichkeiten einer Sprache
- Function, form and the possibilities of a language New assignments of forms and functions depend on options that are structurally inherent in the respective language. Its current medial and normative development then opens certain paths or at least suggests them. However, it still needs a shared intention among relevant parts of the language community to set changes in motion. These interrelationships will be discussed using examples from the beginning and end of the implementation of the German standard language.
