N2  - Der folgende Beitrag basiert auf der ethnografisch-soziolinguistischen Untersuchung einer Gruppe türkischstämmiger Migrantinnen der zweiten Generation in Mannheim, den „türkischen Powergirls“. Im Zentrum der Untersuchung steht der kommunikative Stil der Gruppe, wie er sich in Auseinandersetzung mit der Lebenswelt der Mitglieder und mit relevanten Anderen herausgebildet hat. Stil wird als Index für das kulturelle Selbstverständnis der Gruppe konzeptualisiert und stilistische Veränderungen, die im Laufe des Gruppenentwicklungsprozesses beobachtbar sind, werden als Ergebnis der Auseinandersetzung mit veränderten Lebensbedingungen und als Indiz für ein verändertes kulturelles Selbstbild gefasst. In dem Beitrag werden nach einer kurzen Charakteristik des kommunikativen Stils der Gruppe die deutschtürkischen Mischungen als salientes Stilmerkmal fokussiert und unter strukturellen und funktionalen Aspekten beschrieben.
N2  - The following article is based on an ethnographic sociolinguistic study of a group of second-generation ethnic Turkish migrants in Mannheim, the “Turkish Powergirls”. The investigation focuses on the communicative style of the group and how it has developed in interaction with the environment in which its members live and with other relevant people. Style is conceptualized as an index of the cultural self-image of the group, and the stylistic changes which are observed in the course of the group development process are understood as a result of coming to terms with changed living conditions and as an indication of a changed cultural self-image. The article begins with a short sketch of the communicative style of the group, after which it focuses on German-Turkish mixed forms as a salient style characteristic which is described in its structural and functional aspects.
