N2  - An explanatory model of spoken interview structure is proposed. The structure of an interview consists of quanta that are groups of turns. This structure is determined by the interviewer's intentional structure, whereas the latter depends on the interviewer's knowledge structure. A classification of communicative intentions is proposed, distinguishing between local intentions that are derived from the global intention, and underived, spontaneous local intentions.
