There are common cases however when the translator expresses anteriority where French is underspecified. On the other hand, sometimes the translator (or the editor) decides not to express anteriority by a verb tense even if there is a perfect tense in the French source text. This is the surprising result of this study based on a small corpus of contemporary novel translations.}, language = {de} }
